As a child and family therapist, I treat children from preschool through adolescence. When treating younger children I address behavioral, learning, social, and emotional issues. I specialize in working with children who have learning or attentional disorders. Accurate diagnosis includes consultation with teachers and pediatricians.

I specialize in the treatment of adolescents with anxiety, depression, school and social concerns, and family problems. As such, I have significant experience counseling children and families going through divorce. Also, I am qualified to conduct divorce mediation and couples counseling. As a forensic specialist, my specialties include conducting child custody evaluations.

I utilize a family systems approach in working with children and adolescents. I understand that involvement of parents and creating family change is essential to helping children and adolescents cope and adapt.

I also specialize in treating adults suffering from anxiety and depression. I develop a safe collaborative relationship where new insights and change become possible. I work with individuals to discover healthy ways to cope with difficult feelings in order to change maladaptive ways of behaving.
